Salt inserted in wounds

Here at the Hand Mirror there have been numerous words written about Alac's recent set of advertisements that blame drunk women for getting raped.

Apparently this advertisement won some sort of industry award.

    Oh for crying out loud - the world HAS gone mad (I should have known with the Palin VP nomination and all).

    I saw it in the news briefs in the Herald this morning and my ire was raised. Then a whole lot of other crap happened and I forgot about it entirely.

    I haven't read the link yet e-e, but it sounds like it'll make me mad...

    Ugh!! I caught the end of the ad again the other night, having not seen it for a while. I cannot believe it's considered award worthy. Ugh.
