Ha! I love it! Based on the small amount my kid ingested the other day, and total lack of sparkly poop so far, I'd say it doesn't. Or you need to eat a lot.
Which kinda calls the purpose of eating it into question (for me, anyway) :)
I have no idea about whether edible glitter survives its passage through the digestive tract but I can say with some authority that if you have the kind of baby who likes to eat the craft supplies at Playcentre then every nappy will be a sparkling surprise.
