Is there anywhere in the world that seems to have got it right, and if so how can we copy them here?Juliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08977150346842277994noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8770341086445997547.post-36153218370861510842008-10-24T19:21:00.000+13:002008-10-24T19:21:00.000+13:00I agree as well Tui. Whilst I don't think it's /the most/ important issue, I found her answers to #1 and #11 refreshingly different to what we've heard so far - and I do consider myself "sex positive", much as I hate the phrase.antheahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05977317113072185299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8770341086445997547.post-59024122682332893802008-10-24T15:48:00.000+13:002008-10-24T15:48:00.000+13:00Completely agree, Tui - it's so hard to criticise ...Completely agree, Tui - it's so hard to criticise the representation of women in the media without getting written off as a prude. I think that many sex-positive feminists have become uncomfortable with criticising sexualised imagery for fear they may be associated with the very unpopular sex-negative feminisms, but, you know: sexualised imagery isn't always sex-positive and it's often misogynistic. It's refreshing to see that viewpoint represented.Tuihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11028316277815052897noreply@blogger.com
