Campus security, yeah right

Shame on Auckland Uni for not allowing Uighur human rights activist Rebiya Kadeer to speak on campus. Great to show their commitment to free speech, academic freedom and critic and conscience and all that.

    Shame indeed. I studied at UOA and this is incredibly disappointing, and in fact disturbing.

    I did hear Keith Locke on the radio this morning saying they had a back-up venue already sorted at the Pioneer Ellen Melville Hall in High St?
