At the Thursdays in Black forum last week, there was discussion about starting up a group at UOA which would build on campaigning around Thursdays in Black and related issues, and I've just got an email this morning detailing the next step.
WHAT: University of Auckland Women's Group meeting
WHEN: Thursday 7th August, 2pm
WHERE: Upstairs at AUSA House, 4 Alfred St (the nice old looking building, almost opposite the Library)
WHAT: The agenda is just provisional at this stage but it includes discussing what the group could be about, what it could do on campus, Thursdays in Black, campaigning against sexist advertising, Kate magazine, consent/sexual violence on campus campaign, and Suffrage Day.
