Feminist Events: Women's Fest at Vic

For all those who are Wellington-based, you might want to check out the Women's Fest coming up next week at Victoria University of Wellington. Those involved in the organising have a blog up about it here, and events include:

• film screenings - "Lipstick and Dynamite" and "Viva La Vulva"
• a clothes swap
• seminars - "Unveiling Women in Islam" and one yet to be announced
• a Dance Dance Party Party
• and even a feminist quiz night (which is a mighty fine idea indeed!)

Organised by the Victoria University Women's Group which has a Facebook group that you may wish to peruse if you are into that kind of thing.
