Odd thing: There were 24 mini cupcakes, an even number (6) of each iced in pink, yellow, green and blue (all quite pastelly). All the pink and green ones went quick smart, the yellow ones mostly went, but the poor neglected blues largely had to be hoovered up by me after the event...
Normally I laugh in the face of sociobiology - but could there be some evolutionary reason why we're less keen on blue; ie that their aren't many naturally-occuring blue foods. I say this because black foods give me the willies.
I don't like black foods much either, especially black jellybeans. I did like them when I was a kid but then I ate too much at the cinema one time and threw them up everywhere. For some reason since then I've never been able to stomach them. I guess it was a formative experience.

Porn is right, Julie - somehow, the way you capture the cupcakes is like subtle boudoir photography. I love it!

Whereas I would make a beeline for the blue. What does this mean?
Blue's my favourite colour, so I would have done the same.
Perhaps what it means is that my blue icing looks a bit manky ;-)

But anna, blueberries are blue and they totally rock the house. Especially the blueberry pancakes I had yesterday!
