Guess Who III

This one is dedicated to my co-blogger Anna, who is all shades of marvellous and I'm so glad to be in this team with her.
Most of these feminists are radical, frustrated lesbians, many of them, and man-haters, and failures in their relationships with men, and who have declared war on the male gender. The biblical condemnation of feminism has to do with its radical philosophy and goals. That's the bottom line.
Guess I must have skipped that chapter of the Good Book. Guesses* in comments please.

The last dose of odiousness was from Phyllis Schlafly, who also said:
I have canceled speeches whenever my husband thought that I had been away from home too much.
And
By getting married, the woman has consented to sex, and I don't think you can call it rape.
Nice.

* Google is generally discouraged, but really how do I know what you're doing out there in cyberspace?

Oh I googled and ended up traumatised by the other quotes on "Voices from the radical right".

Wow. Declared war on the male gender? Hilarious.

Sounds like Garth George, if I had to take a guess.

Phyllis Schlafly has a gay son. Poor guy.

You've put a smile on my dial, Julie - and that paragraph describes me perfectly. How did the author get so insightful?

The Biblical thing is interesting. There are plenty of bits of the Bible which conflict with feminism's goals - but I can't remember in which Gospel Jesus and Germaine Greer went head to head.

I wonder what percentage of feminists are these mythical frustrated man-hating lesbians who have declared war on the male gender? And actually I don't blame any women who've taken that path, it seems to me to be one way of dealing with patriarchy. Not the way I've chosen, but certainly a way.

Readers may be interested in scrubone's discussion of our Guess Who's, which he think mean we have somehow admitted that feminism has failed. As if we've somehow finished with the feministing already!
