Guess Who IV

This one is dedicated to the truly lovely ex-expat who I suspect will get it in one:
Men's problems are traditionally dealt with by the criminal justice system. Women, on the other hand, get a bloody Cartwright Inquiry and get millions of dollars thrown at their breasts and cervixes.
The last nasty quote was from the one and only Rev. Jerry Falwell, now residing in hell or heaven, depending on your point of view. Probably if you are reading this blog, and you believe in an afterlife at all, you're tending towards the warmer of those two options.

Anyhow, he wrote in his book America Can Be Saved:
I hope I live to see the day when, as in the early days of our country, we won't have any public schools. The churches will have taken them over again and Christians will be running them.
God forbid!

Shit ... I've read this before ... is it John 'front bum' Tamihere?

I actually think that the use of prison to 'treat' male social/mental problems is an important one, but it doesn't need to be made in an idiotic and sour-grapeish way like this.

And I would suggest that prison is a very poor treatment for cervical cancer.

That's stupid. It's also a bad example of the author's argument since the criminal courts never prosecuted Professor Green!

Oh dear - I meant that the issue of using prison to 'treat' men is important, not that it's use is important. Dick!

Most American Christian's would disagree with anything that Jerry had to say in his bigoted life.
