One month to get those pay equity petitions in...

The Pay Equity petition launched by Labour MP Sue Moroney and supported by The Hand Mirror and many others is approaching submission.

Please get your signed copies in by June 1st. You can download the petition from the Auckland Women's Centre website or the petition and a flyer explaining it from the NZEI Te Riu Roa website.

Our Pay Equity Hub is here. I haven't updated it for a while so if anyone has any links to share which could be added please share them in comments and I will clean it up when I can.

Let's get those signatures in and show the National-led Government that we're still angry and this issue is not going away.

Hate to say it but Labour didn't do this in their 9 years in power. I know you guys were waiting to pin something on National, but open your blinkers just a little to see how silly you sound.

At least admit that Labour should have done more!

What Anjum said Anon.

Honestly, it's like 2008 is Year Zero or something, and Labour couldn't possibly have done anything about anything ever. I personally think they could have done more, but they did make a good start. Which National have now stopped in its tracks.
