What a brave woman and it does sound like she is doing fantastic work, particularly with children.
I was getting the message in that video though that she thinks all women working in the industry are forced and thus should be forced out via rescue. I'm not at all comfortable with that.
Thanks for posting this video - sex trafficking is one of the things that makes me the most angry. I would love to know more about it... I wonder what the police & judicial response to it is like in India? It is tragic when the victims are not fully accepted back into their families or communities, too often the victims are blamed or made to pay the price for what others did to them.
i'd have to plead ignorance amelia, i really don't know much about the situation there. but yes, agree totally with your second point.
