Not sure it'll be the silver bullet for our current woes (especially as it would be mainly jobs given to muscled men, who are unlikely to be the only people laid off in the coming months) but then no one measure will.
However I do kind of wonder what the good people who have been quietly beavering away on Te Araroa - The Long Pathway since 1994 think about it?
